Capital region business expo

“The NSW Government is a proud supporter of the Capital Region Business Expo as part of its commitment to supporting businesses in regional NSW. Through the Department of State and Regional Development, the NSW Government’s business investment programs and services help local businesses grow and prosper.

The Department operates a number of development programs to assist eligible businesses in regional NSW. For example, the Regional Business Development Scheme has been a major catalyst in encouraging regional growth by helping firms to expand in or relocate to regional areas. Small Business September is another program that provides practical, topical information designed specifically for small businesses. For more information on the Department’s programs, visit www.business.nsw.gov.au

The Capital Region Business Expo will help regional businesses by offering a range of information from growing a new business to expanding into new markets. The organisers, Regional Events Australia expect 500 visitors to the expo, making this a great learning opportunity and an effective promotion for the 50 local businesses participating in the trade show.

Investment, job creation and prosperity are central to the NSW Government’s plan for business in NSW. I encourage business owners in and around the regional centres of Goulburn, Crookwell, Boorowa, Yass, Queanbeyan, Cooma and Braidwood to attend the Capital Region Business Expo”

The Honourable Tony Kelly MLC
NSW Minister for Regional Development
